I signed up for a free iSip trial.

It seems to be helping me get round the fact that my direct line simply refuses to be fixed!

  • Some early observations:

    I like the fact that I can give out a phone number that people can call me on from a proper phone. That is good.

    On the downside:

    1) Skype very handily has a Firefox plugin so is quickest off the mark for dialing numbers on web pages.
    2) I can cut and paste a number into Skype.
    3) Skype picks up my Outlook contacts all on its own.
    4) Why do I need to be able to make 6 calls at the same time?
